· Föderation EN Mo 24.02.2025 20:52:01 @jalefkowit I saw a lot of commentary this morning to the effect that the former DDR was basically stripped for parts after reunification; its industries largely sidelined; and promises of economic advancement never quite materialized. So what happens politically when an entire region, one deeply suspicious of Russia, ends up poor & under-resourced? Controversial hand gestures, I guess. |

The East lags behind in all sorts of economic and demographic indicators.
