There is an historical non-profit in Germany, and the tax authorities decided arbitrarly after 3 years that it was no longer non-profit. Our appeal did not went through, and the reason is that open-source is not explicitely in the german tax law about non-profits. Last year, an independant Mastodon non-profit structure was created in the US, to help fundraising for Mastodon. Eugen does not have any position with this non-profit. |

So… I am not sure what this is supposed to show here? |
