Föderation EN Mi 31.07.2024 18:17:03 Bugger. Just realized I put a relatively new pair of AirPods through the wash. I’m usually good about checking pockets but got absentminded last night. Both the AirPods and the case seem functional—generally—if a bit wonky. So, I’m trying the rice thing. Whatever was chirping intermittently has stopped. Which could be good or could be bad. We’ll see!

Föderation EN Fr 02.08.2024 00:24:41 Well, the AirPods SEEM to have survived going through the wash. We’ll see whether they start doing buggy things. BUT then I notice this somehow happened to the back of my watch. And rice ain’t gonna fix that—heading over to the store to send it wherever it goes for repairs. I swear this week is making me feel like I’m an abusive Apple parent.

Föderation EN Fr 02.08.2024 00:51:08 @boeckli It HAD to have been dropping it, which happens, and I have a tiled floors. But I have NO IDEA when it happened or exactly how. Hasn't affected the functionality, can't feel it, and don't usually look at the back of the watch. It was only taking it off last night to put in on the charger than I noticed it. So, it could've been yesterday morning or a week ago or a month ago! |
