Some want the trophy, don't care for the victory, and think anybody who actually works for it is a sucker.

Given the way Youtube bombarded me with adverts for MIDI chord-packs, promoting the idea that music theory is hard and complicated (spoiler alert: it's easy to learn enough to put a chord progression together) this just seems like a logical progression.
