@ateriath password is set to the user one and the keyring gets unlocked when you unlock your user. But if it wasn't setup correctly, the passwords 'desynced' or automatic login is on, then it won't be unlocked automatically.

To disable the password/encryption, open "Passwords and Keys" (seahorse), right click the default keyring on the sidebar (usually named "Login"), select change password, input the current one and leave it empty when prompted to pick the new one!
