Föderation EN Do 09.05.2024 10:03:52 I now use @protonprivacy The downside is inability to log into separate email addresses. Everything comes into one inbox. I use filters to organize each email in its own inbox folder, but its still a little clumsy, and even clumsier when I try to use Bridge and separate the addresses in Thunderbird, because @thunderbird doesn't handle the folders well and looks very cluttered. If Proton can fix this, it will be a game changer. Privacy needs to go with along efficiency for businesses. |
Föderation EN Do 09.05.2024 13:55:55 @dilmandila @protonprivacy @thunderbird I haven't figured out how to make Thunderbird handle Proton Mail. |

Föderation EN Do 09.05.2024 21:25:26 @carturo222 @dilmandila @protonprivacy For paid users, Proton Mail provides a bridge that lets you use it with Thunderbird! https://proton.me/support/protonmail-bridge-clients-windows-thunderbird/ |
Föderation EN Fr 10.05.2024 10:24:13 @carturo222 @dilmandila @thunderbird You can do it via Proton Mail Bridge: https://proton.me/mail/bridge If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us here. |
Föderation EN Fr 10.05.2024 13:23:25 @protonprivacy @carturo222 @thunderbird My complaint is that Thunderbird doesn't handle proton folders well, and leads to a lot of clutter and more inconvenience since it creates duplicate folders under each email address |
Föderation EN Fr 10.05.2024 23:57:46 @dilmandila @protonprivacy @carturo222 It looks like Proton recommends editing folders on the webmail side and letting them sync through the bridge, rather than the other way around: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/vtd7jy/creating_new_folders_and_subfolders_from_within/ |
