@georgetakei My grandmother contracted Polio before there was a vaccine. She spent her entire life as a handicap woman. She was a pistol though...drove a Plymouth Barracuda!

On the list of deadly things solved by thoughts and prayers, perhaps we should add school mass-shooters?

After all, thoughts and prayers is all that is done to keep that problem in check, so presumably it has solved it?

unfortunately, none of the diseases in the first list were eradicated. They are still there, waiting for an opportunity, like say reduced vacation levels

In the meantime we have drug resistant diseases and bacteria due to over prescription and misuse
