@jeffjarvis 8 years ago, the French branch of NYT invited me to a discussion about how I saw the paper, etc. U remember pretty well telling them they acted as fireflies in the night, under stress of a high power lamp, but that we needed them to behave differently, to put perspective, to allow us to think.

@jeffjarvis It's probably not the time to zone out, but it *is* a good time to focus. Nobody can keep up with everything, but we can all keep up with something. Picking your cause and fighting for it relentlessly, and counting on others to do the same, is the best way for us to get through this crisis.
