Today I tried to open a site, https://www.gay.it/gianni-morandi-lucio-dalla-era-innamorato-di-me-non-la-metterei-cosi, with @Vivaldi - that I normally use. The browser started to crash trying to open it. I wasn't able to use it anymore, until, in one of the first moments of opening, before crashing, I managed to close the site's tab (my Vivaldi normally opens on the last tab used in the last lession).

I checked the link, but couldn't reproduce the crash. Does Vivaldi crash when you open the link in a new user profile as well?

@Vivaldi I'll try. But, to avoid the difficulty to solve the bug once that it starts, is there a way to open Vivaldi in a sort of safe mode, or/to switch to other profiles before opening, or to avoid to open previous windows before opening the app?

When you have multiple profiles and all of them are closed, then upon opening you see a window where you need to pick the profile you want to open, allowing you open your main profile even when the other one is crashing.
Also, when you create a new profile, you can also create a desktop shortcut for it.
Furthermore, there are some command line switches that might be handy for testing listed here: peter.sh/experiments/chromium-, but I'll be honest, I'm not sure which ones to recommend. 🤔
