That investment also means that other NGI funded packages are in NixOS. Everyone gets this third party support. A packager for a distribution isn't just a benefit individual projects. A packager will help many other projects be part of a distribution. |

With @EUCommission not allocating budget to help fund that, many projects will be looking at a tough few years. As competition for the remaining crumbs of funding increases there's less pie to go round. Less diversity in the funded tech, because the grassroots won't be funded.
