@richlv My employer had already planned to replace its VPN system with one that only coped with a small proportion of the workforce to one that would cope with everybody, and the project was under way before covid started. But when lockdown came there were still a few weeks of rationing until the project was complete.

@richlv Digital Transformation is whatever its promoters want it to be to declare victory. Improving automation, communication, and recordkeeping with computers have been an ongoing process and the initiative did not suddenly appear from the minds of some executives.
