I was out dancing (and imbibing) in Vegas one night and they wouldn't give me tap water at the bar. They wanted $7 for an 8-oz bottle. In a busy nightclub. In the DESERT. I filled my damn cup in the bathroom sink.

Anyplace that doesn't give people free access to clean water, is telling us something important about their values.

The DNC actively helped elevate Trump to a serious candidate in the first place. They're feeding the monsters they pretend to fight. These are two connected parts of ONE systemic evil, tag-teaming us and pretending that means we have a "choice".

That's not chess. That's manufactured consent.

All of this legit points to a deep and systemic sickness in the American culture and psyche.

We will fully go OUT OF OUR WAY to make life harder on ourselves and everyone else, just to avoid adopting more efficient, logical systems that actually make sense. Maintaining an obsolete status quo, and the stubbornly proprietary systems that use it, is a higher priority than progress. Can't have too much compatability with "foreign" ideas and manufacturing, and can't acknowledge somebody came up with a better way of doing something.
