I have to put together a poster today showing that a factor analysis of 21 markers derived from chest CT and spirometry calculated at two time points, 5 years apart are almost exactly the same. The point is that the covariance structure between what lungs look like and how lungs can be used is ridiculously stable even in people who have damaged their lungs via smoking cigarettes. Then I have to grade applications to a public health fellowship and work on a letter of intent for a study of adrenal insufficiency. So, yeah, a typical day! Not weird at all!
