You need to isolate the instance that is platforming fascists.

Fascists don't care if individuals block them, because their target audience are the other individuals that don't block them. Platforming fascists is wrong, they need to be isolated and denied an audience.

If you're only using Mastodon through the official mobile apps, you're missing out on many of its features such as pinned posts, temporary mutes, scheduled posts, different poll types, account redirects and more.

If you want the complete Mastodon experience, you might want to try using your server's website, third party apps, web apps, desktop apps etc.

Mastodon is part of a wider social network called the Fediverse. You can follow and interact with accounts from many different kinds of Fediverse platforms from within Mastodon, and they will appear in your timeline just like Mastodon posts do.

For example @Iancylkowski is a Pixelfed account, @helenmclaughlin is on the video platform PeerTube, @hamishtpb is on the livestreaming platform OwnCast. You can follow them by clicking an account and then "Follow".
