@mistersixt @GambaJo Not to downplay the work of the developers, but if you're recommending apps over Rethink, you must know that:

1. pDNSf does not handle DNS over TCP (which we've caught some trackerware/spyware SDKs like Gamooga and InMobi using): https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/8330-app-compatibility-with-grapheneos/81

2. TrackerControl (TC) inherits the limitations of NetGuard (which it forks). For ex, DNS requests for ECH ("encrypted client hello") are explicitly blocked. NetGuard (and TC) does not support Android's "VPN Lockdown" mode.

@Huzifa @GambaJo Do you use on-device blocklists? If not, the RAM usage must not exceed 200mb.

With regards to on-device blocklists (which require ~120mb RAM), we've improved RAM usage in v055o by 50%
(that is, it consumes 50% less memory for on-device blocklists).

@burningbecks @GambaJo Are you on v055n, if so, are you using WireGuard with Rethink? There are some known issues with FritzBox and the app can crash a bunch. Both these glaring issues have been fixed in v055o, the upcoming version, due a release soon (may happen this week).
