@MastodonEngineering "Once 4.3 is branched out and in Release Candidate, we will focus on specification work for Quote Posts.
We are also starting brainstorming around block list improvements. We did some preliminary work on this in 4.3, and we expect this to be one of the big features for 4.4"

@MastodonEngineering interesting to see the "stoot" Hugo shortcode, I built something very similar myself, doesn't do polls or CWs but does manage to handle icons in the user handles.

@andypiper @MastodonEngineering It's nowhere near as polished a solution (stoot being a properly packaged module) but it's really interesting to see all the solutions people are coming up with!
