PixelDroid

We've released an offshoot of the PixelDroid project: Bunny!

It is a media (photo&video) editor for Android. It's *very* basic for now but the groundwork is there for bigger things!

A new release just came out on F-Droid!

Big update and changes of the colors in the app.

You can now choose a color accent out of the four possible choices, the bottom bar in the main activity was updated to a more "Material 3" look.

This release also adds a new mascot drawing (which I commissioned with funds from NLnet 🇪🇺)

Hello beautiful people. I am publishing a release allowing video editing in the app. For now, you can mute and trim the beginning and end of the video, but it shouldn't be too hard to add a lot of other features in the future like cropping for example 😄

It does make the APK size a lot bigger but that will get better in a future update :)

The blurhash functionality will make the experience on a slow connection much better, and the app will feel smoother thanks to it 😊

Also coming soon: 1️⃣ PixelDroid will stop you from trying to put more pictures in a single post than your server supports, and 2️⃣ warn you if an image is too big (option to compress in those cases is on the TODO list). 3️⃣ You will be able to see all the images of a profile, instead of just the first images

Release time!

This one adds the ability to set image descriptions (good practice for accessibility reasons, but also handy to comment on each photo), and there are translation improvements (plurals are now supported, so languages like Russian with more nuanced plurals can translate things correctly).

Thank you for the crash reports, a regression caused by a change in the last release was fixed!
