Föderation EN Mi 30.04.2025 00:26:52 I’ve seen so much horrific shit since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 that it weighs heavily on me. It’s second hand of course, I can only imagine the suffering people have been through, but the work we’ve done monitoring the situation on the ground has really affected me in a way that Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan hadn’t. That’s not that they were in any way better, it’s just that that every second of it wasn’t captured, uploaded, and analysed. I need a rest from it, but I fear the worst if we look away. |
Föderation EN Sa 26.04.2025 09:43:02 Ok Fedi, I need your help. I need to reach out the maintainers (or current custodians) of the IGMP protocol. In the RFC there are contacts listed, but they’re 20 year old corporate addresses. I ideally don’t want to be throwing emails down a black hole and hoping for the best. Any ideas? Or maybe they’re on the Fediverse? I get the feeling this might have been passed to someone else at Cisco. |
Föderation EN Fr 25.04.2025 16:54:40 Sooo say you’d found a vulnerability with a protocol used by the majority of OT devices of a particular kind… How might you disclose that given there’s potentially billions of devices currently use it across thousands of vendors? |
Föderation EN So 23.03.2025 08:25:18 Ok. I can’t take it anymore. @IceCubesApp is going in the bin. The jumping to random points in my timeline bug still hasn’t been fixed and I just watched a few mins of a video for it to disappear into the ether and not be found again with 15mins of scrolling. |
Föderation EN Do 30.01.2025 11:16:33 So I’m running an iPhone app 15 Pro Max, and it has a lot of horsepower. But as much as I love @Vivaldi browser on my desktop and tablet, the iOS version of the app is really laggy. Which is bizarre seeing as it’s all WebKit anyway. Typing has notice input lag and clicking links has similar. Scrolling one way is smooth enough but immediately scrolling the opposite way adds a large pause. Can’t work it out. Other browsers are lightning fast as expected. It’s not even like the app is using too many resources, switching to it is instant, it just feels like the input is at like 15fps, leading to typos or misclicks. |
