@chrisphin what address gets put into your browser when you click on the link in my bio? i wonder if whatever fedi client you use opens the hyperlink in some funny way

ah, that solves the mystery then 
i wonder if the app assumes its a fedi link because of the @ in the address
ive changed it to the short link which does not include it, maybe that changes stuff

@endali It works fine with that, but according to Ivory that is fixed anyway with the long. But other clients may choke too, so the short version is a good shout!
