@TheEddieShow my first account on mastodon was back in 2017, a whole year after it was made. Same reasoning you boosted. Twitter sucked (even under jack) and the anarcjist at the time migrated here. The first instance. It was nice. I eventually went back for news and memes but killed the account for good when i felt to many people lacked community and embraced "social capital" of "I have followers so what i say matters".

Looking at it now...glad i never returned.
