Honestly a bit boggled by this response.

I generally enjoy your content, and follow you here on Mastodon, or I would not have commented.

(And I would boost you more often here were you to add alt text to the images in your posts, but that’s another#accessibility consideration.)

You have posted a notice on this platform saying that if your followers here want to find your content, we’re obliged to use a platform that is indisputably and very publicly controversial at best.

I had hoped that your reaction might be to reconsider your decision not to duplicate the thread here on Mastodon in order to extend your reach. I acknowledged the burden that the current fragmentation of platforms puts on those who wish to share their content with diverse demographics.

Or, at least, I thought you might acknowledge the situation but indicate that you just don’t have the time to repost all your threads on 3 or 4 other platforms.

Instead, it seems you’d rather have your followers like me fade silently away and drop you, and left me feeling a bit stung for having let you know that it’s not a lack of interest in your content that keeps me from reading content on that other platform.

A puzzling choice.
