@andypiper - I love putting pins into maps, both virtual and tangible, myself, and its awesome to have friends in places you are visiting alerted to that in an automated way, so that hangouts can end up happening even if you have forgotten that you know people in those places - but I still have to wonder about the tracking in that app (noting that I don't use Google or Apple Maps in order to avoid said location tracking).
