To answer your question about donations. Recurring donations require login to your Vivaldi account, so you'd have an easy way to manage it (edit the amount, card details, etc.).
In addition, all logged in donators get a badge of appreciation. Maybe you've seen the teal and golden jewels next to some user's profile pictures on Vivaldi Social and the Forum.

But we are looking into ways to make it possible to set up an anonymous recurring donation as well.
