As we go through hiring a few new people at Thunderbird, it's shocking to see how many P4 and P5 decide to apply for P2 and P3 roles, specifying in their cover letter that they're willing to get a lower salary and role, some because they can't find anything else, others because they come from abusive places and VC funded hellholes.

Folks, it's brutal out there and my heart goes to all the people looking for work and going through these painful times.

The feeling when you're extremely overwhelmed by the work and kinda panicky, but then you talk with your colleagues and managers and get the support you need and things start to look immediately better.
I'm lucky to be around this team.
