I'm late to the party but I finally read Niklaus Wirth's classic "A Plea for Lean Software":

To make up for it I also read another software design classic, "The Emperor's Old Clothes" by Tony Hoare:

The main takeaway from these works is that omitting unnecessary features and simplifying is an overlooked, low hanging fruit of software design.

In @Tusky on Android, with the home or notifications feed scrolled down, when I tap the icon of the home or notifications feed I'd expect the corresponding feed to jump to the very top and show the latest toot first.

Instead the feed often moves up a bit but not to the top. I have to repeatedly tap the icon or pull to refresh to get to the top.

Am I Tusky-ing wrong?
