Yes, this is the wanted behavior. Manually reloading means "force search new messages and jump to the top". Otherwise, when scrolling up, the app will automatically fetch more recent messages.

Das die App automatisch neue Nachrichten abruft ist gut. Doch das sollte im Hintergrund passieren und keine Auswirkungen auf den Stand der TL haben wo man gerade ist. "Jump to the top when fetch new messages" as Option in the Settings?
