Last year they smelled of almost nothing and I felt like my brain had been cooked by SARS-CoV-2 😥 It may seem insignificant but to me it was extremely scary. I went for a walk yesterday and there were early lilac blooms along the path, and of course I buried my head in one of them and inhaled deeply even though I'm sure it made me look like a doofus to anyone walking or driving by. The smell of lilacs is one of the great pleasures in life. I'm so glad you are able to enjoy it again! |
