@tripplehelix the URL comes from the backend API, there's no way to know if it's borked or not.
Regarding the interaction, are you expecting the link to open on Phanpy site instead of the original server site?
As for that account, judging from its site, seems like a bot? 🤔

@cheeaun I'm pretty sure it is a bot looking into it.
Open in new tab has always been a little confusing for me on Phanpy, any other site would keep links internal, unless explicit. I find it odd that clicking a link and control clicking a link take you to two different places. In some specific parts of the UI.
You already have 'open externally' in the three dot menu.

@cheeaun OK looking into it, it looks like you hijack control clicking, instead of opening in new tab it opens a slide in from the bottom. I expected this to open a new tab, the same as right-clicking then new tab.
I don't think modifying browser binds is a good idea either.
