It would really improve readability of text / accessibility. Currently when magnifying, the column width allows only a few words to display even if I view mastodon on a TV. Completely phone-centric design. Tampermonkey-like width customization hacks are not for an average user. black-puppydog has commented with references to other cases this has been brought up since 2017. |

We are a very small team and are struggling only working on the more important stuff, so I cant promise anything here. If a contributor wants to write a proposal to solve this issue, and then want to have a go at the implementation, we can probably review it. |
