@FediTips Is there a Fediverse way of mentioning a user handle to somebody without making it a mention that is sent to that account? I’d like to suggest a user to somebody but don’t want to add noise to that person’s feed. On Twitter there was the dot before the @ sign.

@libreoffice The now abandoned #NeoOffice fork was my go-to office suite on MacOS even though I‘ve installed Libreoffice on any Windows PC I got my hands on 😀 Is there any way or plans to make LibreOffice feel more native on MacS? Is the work that NeoOffice did lost to closed source or could it be salvaged?

What bothers me a bit about Mastodon is that there’s no way of experiencing discussions that develop from posts I have read. Is there a way (even if it’s part of some 3rd party app) that solves this? E.g. making older posts reappear in the timeline once more than x replies were generated?
