My morning was improved one-hundred-fold by the discovery of this tiny Eastern Dwarf Treefrog on a citrus fruit.

It was no bigger than a beetle, and almost the same colour as the unripe fruit.

A tiny green frog with black stripe through its eye and around the nose, huddled on a green citrus fruit. It is almost the same colour as the fruit and is presumably hoping not to be noticed.

A crop of the previous image to better show the tiny frog. It is green on top, with a black stripe running along its side, through the eye and down to the nose. The legs are tucked up under it, but some of the gold colouring on the legs is visible.

While looking for a completely different bird, this male Superb Fairywren insisted on posing on a stick next to me, so I took the hint, and took his photo.

A small bird whose wings are brown, body buff, head black with striking blue cap, cheeks and nape of the neck, and a blue/dark blue long tail.
