@deirdrebeth That's an Android feature, not a Tusky one, and I've seen it less frequently too since a recent Android update.

If "Translate" isn't appearing you can choose "Share" from the long-press menu. That should bring up a list of share targets, including any translation apps you have installed. Choosing one of those should translate the text.
