@avoca does a planet have a lower left corner? Or is your criticism that we are not doing the gathering in, say, south africa? If so, can you help organizing that?

Ummm, not a criticism as such, more a plea.

I was thinking Australia actually, but South Africa is closer than Southern Germany I guess, and, sure, I'll organise it.

@avoca we hardly have any funding or cheque book, though. the DIFF location is chosen also because it minimizes travel costs -- most active contributors are around Europe.
