@jacob @TheGibson reminds of Timothy Geithner who in the 80ties hacked communication tooling in south Africa such that Mandela was able to communicate from prison with the anti-apartheid movement .... and more importantly, fighters were able to communicate with their family while they were living in the resistance underground. And tim never told anyone and didn't brag about it. When a dedicated researcher found them in 2012 or so, he said "I was curious if anyone would find out about it".
