I'm Daniel, I've been involved with activism for most of my life, and I have a life-long interest in the intersection of technology and class/privilege.
Parent to four kids, oldest two of which are now at University (which is astonishing as I'm still only 25...)
I love reading, and try to post about books I love, which are usually Science Fiction and Fantasy.

soapbox is a frontend for pleroma, an alternative fediverse server.
soapbox looks well-designed, modern and professional, and is designed to appeal to ex twitter users.
soapbox’s lead dev, however, is a massive transphobic bigot. as a result it’s almost entirely ignored outside certain specific and awful communities.
it’s ignored because he’s a transphobic bigot. the same standard should apply to any software or service here. show them the door.
