@dioux70 The only people you reach on X are the ones Elon’s algorithms allow you to reach. He owns the speakers, he owns the mixer, and he owns the microphones and he can adjust the volume or turn them off at his whim.

@aral I'm told by friends there that there are still cracks where opposing voices can be heard. (I can't stomach the atmosphere there, plus what you said about supporting fascism, so this is only hearsay)

It would make sense as he has fired a lot of the teams and the algorithm is thankfully not "perfect".

Now you're right that it must be limited to the margins - I imagine that once you get trending and get the attention of a human...

@dioux70 @aral Sure, they're there, but anything they say could have been said on Threads, Mastodon, Instagram, and so on. Posting on X forces people to go on X and boost its ad revenue and status.
