I heard that the camera was not focused on the right place for the stream but @cwebber and @tsyesika just gave a great lightning talk about @spritely in the Social Web devroom at FOSDEM that was nearly performance art. I suppose we'll file it under "you had to be there"

Safari/iOS 18.2 is out, which means up-to-date apple trinkets can now run Hoot programs!

Hoot is now supported across all major browsers!

I congratulate Apple on taking almost exactly 1 year longer to ship WebAssembly GC than Google and Mozilla. Since Apple uses their corporate power to prevent users from having any agency over the computing, Safari is the only browser available on iOS which means Hoot has not worked on those devices this entire time. I am glad the long wait is finally over and I hope that this is the last time that I have to care about Apple's release schedule.
