Reddit has always been awful. There are some subreddits that, apparently, are not complete sewers of the worst of humanity, but I've never been motivated to dig deeply enough to find them. The site went into a monetise-everything spiral years ago.

Hacker News is full of bad takes. The only reason I ever go there is when someone tells me something I've written is on the front page. Then I read the comments and remember why I don't go there normally.

X.com is a Nazi bar.

LinkedIn is mostly grifters, the only safe way to interact with it is to view it as a write-only channel.
