Time flies when you're having fun!

We are so proud of what we're collectively building on the Open Social Web. It's amazing to be in such great company, working with such great people.

Together, we will change social media for the better.

But for now, after a very exciting week, we're logging off for the weekend. We'll be back at 9am BST on Monday.

If you were previously a featured contributor on a Newsmast Channel, you'll soon see a new account trying to follow you.

We know a lot of you use our topical Channels to share your posts with interested people and it's disappointing when your posts don't go as far. But please offer us your patience as we work to chase the gremlins out with a broom 🧹

🚨 Security Update: Hollo 0.6.5 Released

We've released #Hollo 0.6.5 with a critical #security fix for CVE-2025-53941, addressing an HTML injection vulnerability in federated posts.

Please #update immediately to protect your instance from potential phishing and XSS attacks.

How to update:

• Railway: Go to deployments → click three dots → Redeploy
• Docker: docker pull ghcr.io/fedify-dev/hollo:latest and restart
• Manual: git pull origin stable && pnpm install and restart server
