The topography looks like the east coast.
The other shore is too far away for the Moray Firth, so the width leaves only the Forth

Town, that's where I stumble, you can still see the other shore too well for Dunbar. So not Dunbar.
Berwick is another option, but I haven't been there for a few years now and can hardly remember it. If there is a high harbour wall on the right, then I would guess Berwick.
