I tried a lot of tweaking, but am unable to get it to work.

@frankie its been reported to be a server issue, as a recent masto.host event broke push notifications for a bunch of servers. You should talk to your admin for more details.

Hello again.
I just spoke to my instance admin who said that our Instance doesn't use Masto. host. So it can't be a problem from that, perhaps.

Also, notifications work fine on the official Mastodon Android app for the same instance. I hope that narrows down the problem?

@frankie Logging out and logging back in should fix the issue, as that resets the push subscription and it should hopefully work fine after that

Oh, I did do that just about 5 times :blobcatgiggle:

I reinstalled the app from the Aurora store, then again from F droid, and again from the play store.

It didn't work in all those times :blobcatgoogly:

@frankie if you use it from fdroid, you will need a unifiedPush provider to receive notifications. But the aurora version should have worked fine 😵‍💫
