@v_claire @futurebird indeed. Remind’s me of Penguin’s sole encounter with wildlife. She is an indoor cat, but i have occasionally let her wander with me in the backyard. During one of those, we started walking along her preferred path, turning a corner to finding a neighborhood deer resting. The look of utter confusion when she spotted it, and the look of horror she gave me after the deer stood up, like an Eldritch Monstrosity had invaded.
