Föderation EN Mi 19.02.2025 12:19:56 One of the many features we have in @Vivaldi is the Calendar. We had some important requirements when we made it: 1. Flexibility in display. So many calendars cut a lot of information. We want everything you want to be visible to be visible. 2. Inline editing option. Means you can see everything else while adding or editing an event. 3. Easy to use with the keyboard. 4. Both offline and online accounts. Means you can choose whether events are stored in the cloud or just locally on your computer. If you have not tried it, give it a try. Available on Windows, Mac and Linux. Bonus : Makes it easier to move away from Big Tech. |
Föderation EN Mi 19.02.2025 12:30:48 @jon @Vivaldi What you are always welcome to do is to create an independent email app, RSS feed app, calendar, password manager... Whatever you like.. And if it integrates well with browser, awesome. |

Föderation EN Fr 21.02.2025 14:15:09 @jon @Vivaldi I love the built-in Calendar feature so much that I imported (and then moved) my main calendar (previously hosted by Fastmail) to vivaldi.net only so that I can access it directly from Vivaldi w/o having to open up their web UI. And it is trivial to access it on the go too, thanks to the One Calendar Android app that lets you sync up your CalDAV based calendars. Kudos to all of you for the excellent service you provide day in and day out ๐ช |
