Can you please hit me recommendations what do do and see in #Scotland?

I start with Glasgow and Edinburgh and go by public transport.

I love hiking (simple tours), nature, historic trains and need to see puffins and some of the islands.

Everything else is open and I have ample time beginning in April.

Still covid cautious so sadly not staying in hostels and not eating indoors.
