@MastodonEngineering @larsmb to give better feedback on what bothers me about this: filters are for things that make me feel bad, even if I decide not to hide them completely. Right now the filtered item is small and unobtrusive, it doesn't really register but it's still there if I want to see the post. This new themeing makes filtered items more visually prominent than normal items, explicitly drawing my attention to them which is the opposite of what I want. The increased size taken up also means filtered items take up way more size in my feed than before, even though this is content that I don't want to look at 98% of the time
