@lyda I have no answers for you, but I'm asking the same question. I'm in the "reading stuff on the internet" phase of learning about it.

I can already see that the biggest challenge for me will be persuading my fb network to join something new that seems more difficult. I like the comparison of the fediverse to email, that you don't "join email," but sign up with a provider to use email, and all the providers can communicate with each other.
