"The University of Bremen has decided to leave the short messaging service X (formerly Twitter). The reason for this is the increase in the level of disinformation and hate speech on the platform. ... The university management has therefore decided that, as a state university that bears social responsibility, it is no longer justifiable to be active on this platform.
The University of Bremen has already been operating a fediverse account at @unibremen for some time.
