@foo I haven't experienced that myself (my botsin.space posts are always exactly one sentence), but I saw there's an open issue for it. It does something to show if the first line of a post is abbreviated, but nothing to show if any content after that is omitted. https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/31645
