blender 4.5 (git) somewhat working on panvk (mesa git) on mnt pocket reform with rk3588 with some light patching

somewhat lethargic post: how's matrix (the chat infra) going these days? i/we are looking for alternatives to telegram (for obv. reasons) and signal, which is almost ok but suffers (at least for me) from loss of history when migrating devices/installs and diversity of clients, i.e. still no official arm64 desktop client. is matrix 2.0 already there, and how stable is that stuff? or is there something else you'd recommend? (deltachat?)

even if i'd like to meet certain people like @cwebber or @cas i don't think i have the mental capacity to subject myself to FOSDEM this year. i'm still in a grief process (since nov 2024) and i don't have enough quality me-time due to the pressure at work as it is, so i should focus on getting rest and avoid sensory taxing environments (of which FOSDEM is an extreme example) still for a while.

nice, testing classic MNT Reform motherboard 3.0 with RK3588 and enabled 4x PCIe lanes and now getting 2.8GB/s NVMe read on a quick test with 1000x 10MB samples in gnome disks (ssd is Sandisk/WD Blue SN570 2TB)
