@jrdepriest there's uBlock Origin Lite, which currently blocks things as well as uBO (imo) but due to the way its filters are updated I'm worried it'll have trouble with blocking YouTube ads in the future.

The YouTube ad arm's race is my primary concern. The new restrictions mean you can no longer use externally hosted lists so any YouTube update will necessitate a full update to the extension. That could take days.

@jrdepriest @notsureither Firefox has no plans to drop mv2 support at least and ubo works perfectly on FF for blocking YT ads.

@jrdepriest @notsureither AIUI, they updated the ManifestV3 spec so that rule list updates with no code change are fast-tracked for approval, specifically in response to this concern.
